Junyper was first born without a name in a specimen book from the 1920s. 49 Rue de Marseilles, in Lyon, France, is where the long-gone woodblocks were first cut. This distinctive typeface was lost to time until now. The thick lines of the letterforms offer stability while still maintaining accessibility due to the roundness of each letterform. Junyper is characterized by a feeling of joy shown by the unique twists found in many of the letters. The versatility of use with this typeface is expanded even more by the ten weights and styles available. Though Junyper is historically rooted, it shifts beautifully into a modern context. It provides professionalism married to geniality for brand identities and in other titles or display formats.
